The secretariat of the Province of the Anglican Church of Rwanda is glad to inform all members of the Anglican Church of Rwanda and the general public that the Archbishop of Canterbury, The Most Rev., and Rt. Honorable Justin Welby will be visiting Rwanda officially, from February 18 – 21, 2017.
Archbishop Justin will arrive in Rwanda on Saturday 18th February 2017. During this planned visit, Archbishop Justin will join Rwandan Christians for Sunday worship service at Kibagabaga Parish on 19th February 2017. He is also expected to lay a foundation stone at the East African Revival Heritage Center at Gahini historical hill, in Diocese.
Archbishop Justin will also visit Kigali Anglican Theological College where he will give a word of encouragement to the College administration, the staff, and the students.
Bishop Musabyimana Assiel, is consecrated as the next Anglican Bishop of Kigeme Diocese in the ceremony taken place at Nyagisenyi Stadium at a colorful event that was attended by all members of the Rwandan Protestant Council and top government officials.
